New assessment technology
A number of our health and wellbeing assessments offer leading-edge technology not usually available in the UK and exclusive to our service. For example, we provide scanners to measure anti-oxidant levels and equipment to assess scientifically the likelihood of back and spinal problems.

New patient record systems
The new assessment programmes are delivered through a bespoke electronic patient record system developed exclusively for Nuffield Proactive Health - the Vi system. This offers greater accuracy, speedier and more comprehensive reports, instant comparison with previous test results and the ability for clients to use any of our centres in the UK and immediately access their records.

Web enabled appointment management and results availability

After booking a health and wellbeing assessment, clients can be offered access to a secure personal homepage. This contains details of their forthcoming assessment, allows them to complete their questionnaire on-line, and has options to view results, medical reports and health information.

A special practitioner team
As well as providing consultations with experienced doctors, we offer access to health and wellbeing physiologists in all of our centres. Our physiologists have received intensive training in contemporary health assessment and lifestyle management. The role of the physiologist is to offer a whole new dimension to the visit. The physiologist provides practical guidance and the information required to motivate and adopt preventive programmes and lifestyle change.

An ongoing partnership
Our service does not end with the delivery of a report. We want to maintain ongoing proactive relationships. Our team are always available and can be contacted at any time for guidance on lifestyle management programmes. Specific tests can be repeated and progress monitored. In those circumstances where a problem is identified, our clinical team will ensure speedy and appropriate care to address the issue, either through the GP or private referral.

Client services
We pay close attention to the overall administration of the programme. In addition to on-line functionality, we have invested heavily in our central call centre and client support infrastructure to ensure that you benefit from the most efficient processes possible.

Our national network


All services are available across the UK from a network of 32 Nuffield Hospitals and specially designed medical centres. These are conveniently located in the UK's major towns and cities and have good transport links and car parking where applicable. Our programmes can also be tailored and delivered on-site at our corporate clients premises.
